At Cedar Hills, we are grateful for your support.
During Lent 2014, Cedar Hills will once again be conducting its fundraising campaign for the Cedar Hills Scholarship Fund.
Each year several hundred donors contribute to this fund, making camp scholarships available for those families that would not be able to send their children due to the camp fee of $445. This season Camp Cedar Hills will celebrate its 20th year. Each year, we have been able to raise enough to make sure that every child wanting to be at camp would have that opportunity. Miraculously, year after year, we have raised exactly what was needed with little left over for the following program year.
Please join me in making this miracle continue to happen. The appeal letters will be going out soon. If you do not receive one and wish to participate, please send your check to Cedar Hills, 5811 Vrooman Road, Painesville, Ohio 44077. Please write Scholarship Fund in the memo line so that your gift is properly applied to this fund and for this purpose.
No gift is too small, your gifts are tax deductable, and every cent donated is given to a child that requires assistance to attend Camp Cedar Hills. On behalf of your ministry at Cedar Hills, and the many families who benefit from the Cedar Hills Scholarship Fund, I thank you for your consideration and generosity.
--The Rev. Peter Neilsen, Executive Director
