Pre-Convention Meeting Announcement

Convention is coming!

In preparation for this annual event, the Mission Area Councils will be hosting meetings for Mission Area Council members, delegates to Convention, non-parochial clergy, and interested individuals.  The goal of the meetings is to provide participants a time to discuss openly with one another the proposed canonical and constitutional amendments, resolutions, nominations, and the Diocesan Budget.  Below is a list of meeting dates, times and locations:

West	Oct. 21	3:30 p.m.	Trinity, Findlay
Central East	Oct. 23	7:00 p.m.	St. Mark’s, Canton
Summit	Oct. 23	7:00 p.m.	Church of Our Saviour, Akron
North Central	Oct. 27	10:00 a.m.	Grace, Sandusky
Northeast	Oct. 30	7:00 p.m.	St. James, Painesville
Southeast	Oct. 30	7:00 p.m.	St. James, Boardman
Cuyahoga	Nov. 1	7:00 p.m.	All Saints, Parma
South Central	Nov. 1	7:00 p.m.	St. Mark’s, Shelby (Attendees are invited to come early for dinner at 6pm)

Diocesan Convention Handbooks will be mailed to parishes (for parochial clergy and lay delegates) and non-parochial clergy on Monday, Oct. 15.  An electronic version will also be available on the diocesan webpage.  Please make sure to read through it prior to your Pre-Convention meeting.  Before then, you can contact either your Mission Area Council Chair or me if you have any questions.
