Bishop's Message about Hurricane Sandy Relief
Dear colleagues,
With you, I am staggered by the destruction wrought by Hurricane Sandy, from the eastern seaboard all the way to our own communities in the Diocese of Ohio. I join my prayers with yours for all who have suffered the loss of life, property, and livelihood. Please know that Episcopal Relief and Development is responding on our behalf to those in greatest need. To do so, they need our support. Attached is a link to the bulletin insert they have prepared for those who will provide an opportunity on upcoming Sundays to respond with contributions. I encourage you to use them in your parish. As well, any donations sent to the Diocesan Offices will be passed directly along. Checks may be made out to the Diocese of Ohio, with the memo "Hurricane Sandy." Know also that the offering at the Convention Eucharist will go in full to support ER-D's response to this disaster.
