For the second year in a row, Compass Consulting Services, LLC is pleased to partner with Heights Community Congress (HCC) to bring another engaging diversity series for 2014-2015 to the Cleveland Heights area.
On Tuesday, October 7, 2014 HCC will host a discussion at Hope Lutheran Church on the book, The Absolute True Dairy of a Part Time Indian. The program starts at 7PM. Be a part of the conversation:
- Be "On the Same Page" as a part of the city wide discussion
- Join your neighbors
- Begin the discussion
- Talk about the concerns
- Be a part of the solution
The program is facilitated by Dr. Tameka Taylor, Compass Consulting Services, LLC President.
This is a free event. Reading the book is yet not necessary for participation. Reservations are appreciated at 216-321-6775 or heightscongress.org.
On Tuesday, November 14, 2014 at the CH-UH Library, HCC will conduct a community dialogue.
This session focuses on diversity, inclusion and ageism using the book, Two Old Women: An Alaskan Legend of Betrayal, Courage, and Survival. A review of the book begins the session. Then we will interactively explore types of marginalizing of individuals based on their age.
The discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Tameka Taylor, Compass Consulting Services, LLC President.
This a free event. Reservations are appreciated at 216-321-6775 or heightscongress.org. Light refreshments will be served. Reading the book is not necessary for participation.
Finally, save the date for "A Conversation after a Funeral", an original play by Cleveland Heights resident Dr. Mary Weems. The play will be on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Mark your calendars and check the Compass Consulting Services, LCC website for more details.
