Old Trinity Alive! presents "Mozart and More"

The Romantic Period: There were women with flags, amazing art and music, and swooning... lots and lots of swooning. Old Trinity welcomes you for a free, lively evening of classical arias and songs. Music will be provided by Cynthia Ramsdell, director of Heidelberg's Community Music School, and Seth Innis, Choirmaster of Old Trinity. The recital features the exuberance of Mozart, the tenderness of Robert and Clara Schumann, and the theatricality of Pauline Viardot and Charles Gounod. A set of iridescent love songs by Samuel Barber demonstrate the evolving intricacy of harmonies in 20th-century compositional techniques, and the hour is rounded out with upbeat works by George Gershwin. This program is free and open to the public. Old Trinity Church is located at 125 East Market Street, Tiffin. For additional information, call 419-447-0728.
