Trinity Cathedral is hosting the following Labyrinth Events, and there's still time to register:
Singing Bowls & Labyrinth Walk
Friday, Nov. 14 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Free (registration is not required for this event)
Enjoy a meditation with the singing bowls, played by Kathleen Calby, by walking the labyrinth or simply sitting in the sacred space of the Cathedral. The singing bowls come from a long tradition of meditation and quieting the mind and their sounds resonating with your body offer deep relaxation and peaceful harmony.
Spiritual But Not Religious: Using the Labyrinth to Find Your Way
Friday, Nov. 14 7-9 p.m.
Walking the labyrinth helps one reflect, pray, release, address psycho-spiritual issues and find perspective. We will discuss forgiveness, healing of memories, and ritual uses for gratitude and grief. Led by the Rev. Dr. Lauren Artress, a leading force in the modern labyrinth movement.
The Healing Labyrinth: An Ancient Tool for Psycho-Spiritual Wholeness
Saturday, Nov. 15 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
The labyrinth is a place where mind/body and spirit integration can occur, but this process is different within each of us. How much does our mind run things; chattering away because it is afraid of silence? What nourishes your spirit? Inspires you and strengthens you along the path?
This introductory labyrinth workshop contains lecture and discussion, small group processes and walking the Eleven Circuit Medieval Labyrinth to move us toward integration. Led by the Rev. Dr. Lauren Artress.
*10% discount when you register for both the Friday lecture and Saturday workshop. For more information or to register, click here.
