From Parish Health Ministries:
Holiday seasons is a time for sharing and listening to stories. According to Rev. Scott Stoner “Our stories profoundly shape our identities. Our stories tell how our character, values, faith and how our identities have been formed.” Each person has experienced good and bad times. Regrets and blessings are to be shared. Life’s lessons can be learned and shared with others through the telling of their story. Part of the power of personal stories is that never become old. They continue to contain wisdom and teach important lessons.
There is a hymn that starts “We have a story to tell to the nations.”
