On Saturday, January 10, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church hosts its annual family-friendly Chili Cook-Off to benefit its community outreach projects. There are two awards for Best Chili: the People’s Choice and the Celebrity Judges’ Choice.
This year’s celebrity judges are Tony Geftos, news anchor and senior reporter, WTVG 13 ABC; Frank Stoy, director of contracts and external relations, Ohio Council of Community Schools; and Sandy Spang, Toledo City Council at-large member and owner of Plate 21 Restaurant.
Sponsors for silent auction items include Toledo Symphony, Pam’s Corner, Sandpiper Boat, ChuckE Cheese’s, Miracle Lanes, Toledo Auto Care, Valentine Theatre, Russ’ Auto Wash, UT Rockets, Toledo Mud Hens, Toledo Walleye, Toledo Museum of Art, Laura’s Framing Place, Toledo Zoo, MetroParks, Jo Jo’s, Toledo Repertoire Theatre, Rick’s City Diner, The Andersons, Original Pancake House, Marathon Classic LPGA and Potbelly Sandwich Shop. Other silent auction items include beauty salon services by Keith Stoyanovich, Lorri McCormick and Melody Branum of Serenity Salon; three signed and framed NA Noël prints, a Louis Vuitton handbag, two Madame Alexander dolls, an autographed and framed photograph of Naama Shafir, a Tiny Tears doll ensemble by Danbury Mint and a Lee Middleton Honey Love doll.

Meal includes chili, salad and dessert. Adults and Teens $7; Children $4. Beverages available for purchase.
The public is welcome.
