High Tea for Haiti at Christ Church, Kent

Christ Episcopal Church of Kent will host a “High Tea for Haiti” on Sunday February 1st from 2:00-4:15 to benefit their medical mission trip to Haiti. Tea, crumpets and other delicious treats will be served in an elegant atmosphere. There will be children's activities, a silent auction, a raffle and a display of photos from many of the 15 previous trips the missioners have made.

Tickets are $10/adults, $7/children under 12 and are available at the door OR in advance through Frances Acar (330-673-6514) OR via PayPal at www.christchurchkent.org  (click on the “donate” button).

“Donations will help pay for vitally needed medical supplies, drugs and expenses for children and families who otherwise have little or no access to medical treatment,” says Dr. Frank Flanner of Kent. He and his wife Helen Flanner have served on the care team for the last 15 years. The Flanners will be present at the tea to share stories of the many people they have helped through this ministry.

Christ Church is also seeking donations of items for the silent auction (contact Deb Sanderson at 330-630-3103). If you can’t attend, you can still make a donation to support the mission at www.christchurchkent.org.
