A Word to the Church regarding the rubric of love during the COVID-19 pandemic from the Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church

One group offering help is the Pantry at All Saints, which encompasses a series of multi-organizational community service events hosted by All Saints Episcopal Church in Parma.

First and most importantly, please know that each of you and those you love are in my prayers daily. My appreciation and admiration for all you are doing to remain connected pastorally and spiritually with one another, and with the communities you continue to serve so faithfully, is without end. The lay and clergy leadership exhibited during this challenging time is encouraging and inspiring, and every day there are reports of the difference you are making within and beyond your congregations. How you are living through this pandemic and its consequences witnesses powerfully to the resurrection of Jesus.

Joe Ashby, pastor of Grace Episcopal Church, anticipates a 10-15% uptick in demand.The pantry, which receives funding from the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio, private foundations and contributions, has spent a significant amount of money on dollies and bags that weren't needed when people could come straight into the pantry, Ashby said.

Non-profit “Rise in Love” held its monthly food distribution on Saturday in partnership with the pantry at All Saints Episcopal Church in Parma.
