February 17, 5:00pm - February 19, 5:00pm
This watercolor weekend will be an easy, efficient exercise in discovering the magical qualities of watercolor. Sarah Knoblauch has painted watercolor since 1975. She has experienced that it can be spontaneous, controlled and forgiving.
This course will begin by exploring the four basic watercolor techniques. Attendees will then draw various veggies, transfer the drawings to watercolor paper and paint. Later you will also learn how to draw a landscape composition and learn the logical steps in painting it.
As a Montessori teacher, Sarah will "follow your lead" in this new experience. There will be ongoing individual instruction throughout the day. You will learn recipes for different colors and explore new ones on your own.
*All supplies will be provided.
