Whenever we gather for worship we sing, we pray, we sit, we stand, we listen, we bow, we make the sign of the cross. But have you ever wondered why we do what we do? Each week, St. John's, Youngstown, guided by The Rev. Abraham D. Allende, will explore this question. These worship services are designed to enrich and enhance our life together as a community of faith. At each point in the Eucharist, we will explain the purpose and meaning of our actions and the role each person plays in the service. A Q&A period will follow. Services are on Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. on August 1, 8, 15, and 22.
