We are looking forward to the 208th Convention next weekend. We will GATHER together at the Hilton Garden Inn in Perrysburg, Ohio on November 8-9. We will be TRANSFORMed by the Holy Spirit through worship, relationships, conversations, and, of course, fun! After the chance to experience many moments of joy and inspiration in our critical work together, we will SEND you back to your parishes to continue the good work of being faithful, healthy, effective, and sustainable sharers of the transformative love of Jesus in your communities.   

Below are a few reminders and some helpful information:

• Continuing our commitment to sustainability and fiscal stewardship, the Convention Handbook is available on the diocesan website but was not printed and mailed. One copy will be available per table at the convention. Those who prefer a paper copy are advised to print or download the Handbook beforehand.   
• Convention Eucharist will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, Perrysburg, Commodore Ballroom, Parlors A thru C at 5:30 p.m. on November 8. When you arrive at the venue, please use a kiosk to check-in and print your name badge. Check-in will open at 5:00 p.m. 
• Clergy are invited to vest and process - cassock & surplice (unless serving the Eucharist, in which case, alb) and white stole. If you plan to process, please arrive at Hilton Garden Inn, Perrysburg, Niagara room by 5:00 p.m.   
• The Convention Banquet will be at 7:00 p.m. on November 8 at Hilton Garden Inn, Perrysburg Commodore Ballroom, Parlors D and E. There will be a cash/credit bar with beer and wine available. Pre-registration was required for this dinner.  
• The Episcopal Address and all convention business will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn, Perrysburg Commodore Ballroom. Registration for the Convention will begin at 7:45 a.m. on November 9. Please check-in at a kiosk on Saturday morning to receive a name tag (even if you were also there on Friday.) Registration for Convention was required. Please contact Rebecca Miller if you have questions about your registration status.  
• The new delegate orientation will be held at 8:15 a.m. in the Niagara room, and Convention business will begin at 9:00 a.m.   
• There will not be assigned seats on Friday or Saturday. On Saturday, you’re encouraged to sit with your parish.  
• There is ample parking available. Follow signs for the Conference Center at the Hilton Garden Inn. If overflow parking is required, you’re able to park in the adjacent Home2 Suites lots as well.  In the interest of public health, masks will be available in the registration area for anyone who may choose to wear them. If you were exposed to Covid-19 within the last 10 days, please wear a mask.  
• Convention Eucharist will be livestreamed on our Facebook page and convention business will be recorded and posted on our Vimeo account at a later date.
