The Episcopal Church has a complicated relationship with alcohol. We joke that we are “whiskeypalians, “ while lauding our part in establishing AA (yay, Ohio!), and hosting AA groups. Every congregation has people who struggle with addiction and other unhealthy coping mechanisms – and these challenges have only grown during and post-pandemic. The Rev. Erin Jean Warde will invite us to explore the church’s relationship with alcohol, our own and our parishioners’ coping mechanisms, and how we can all be a part of fostering healthy communion and community that celebrates resurrection. I look forward to praying, talking, and sharing time together with you!
God’s Peace,
+Anne
