Path of Totality Festival

April 6 - April 8, 2024

Back To Events

On Monday, April 8, 2024, people within a 124-mile-wide band in the state of Ohio will experience a total solar eclipse. This includes Bellwether Farm. Come for the day or the weekend to experience this once in a lifetime event. Come Saturday or Sunday and spend the night in our primitive camping sites (pond area), cabins (sleeps 10), or in private retreat rooms (single or double occupancy). The festival will include live music with local bands in the Emily Murray amphitheater, time with the animals, volunteer opportunities on the farm, a fishing derby, and all farm-to-table meals. Nerd out during this once in a lifetime solar event!

Registration closes March 25, or until we reach capacity. Eclipse glasses are included in each registration.

All tickets are non-refundable.

A note on registration: Each individual needs a ticket-- please add the correct number of "Programming and meals" tickets to your cart. Lodging is by group-- please choose what accommodations you need for your group.

Arrival and Departure:

  • Please arrive between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dinner is served promptly at 6:00 p.m. If you will arrive after 6:00 p.m., please plan to eat dinner before you arrive—we cannot hold meals for you!
  • You must be out of your accommodations by 11:00 a.m. on Monday so our team can flip rooms for our next guests. We ask that you depart the property by 5:00 p.m.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot provide accommodations for Monday night due to scheduled events the following day.

Packing list:

  • If you are staying in cabins: you will need your own bedding! Pillow, sleeping bag or sheets and blanket for an xl twin bed. Tent campers and cabins will also need their own towels—you will all have access to the bathhouses. (Retreat rooms are supplied with all towels and linens)
  • Fishing poles: If you have a license, you can fish in the Vermillion river on property. All are welcome to fish in our pond, which is catch and release.
  • Layers—all of our doors open to the outside. Temperatures vary widely!
  • Shoes and clothes that can get muddy. We are a working farm!

Do-not-pack list:

  • Pets. Service dogs only!
  • Alcohol
  • We are a smoke free campus, which includes vaping.

  • Every accommodation gets 1 parking spot (1 spot per cabin, 1 spot per room, 1 spot per tent.) Limited additional parking is available for $20 a vehicle.
