St. Paul’s, Cleveland Heights is hosting an event to raise awareness about human trafficking on Sunday, July 14 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. This program will introduce Striving for Hope, an anti-human trafficking awareness and fundraising event, at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes on Saturday, August 3 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Human trafficking is compared to modern day slavery. There are an estimated 21 million globally trafficked. Ohio, the seventh most populous state, ranks fifth in the number of human-trafficking cases, according to World Population Review statistics. Come learn more about this atrocity and how you can do your part to stop it.
