The Diocese of Ohio will launch our CCD Program Sunday, August 11-Friday, August 16, 2024 (Year A).

The program will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon starting with dinner and concluding with lunch on Friday afternoon. There will be one 90-minute Zoom meeting for all participants in the two weeks leading up to the in-person gathering. We will schedule this closer to the date. In registering for the College for Congregational Development Year A, participants are committing to the completion of the entire program: all the working and social sessions, all the readings and assignments, and a small "apply what you've learned" project in your own context. In 2025, participants will be invited back to finish the program by completing the Year B training.

The College for Congregational Development will take place at Bellwether Farm.

We hope congregational teams will come to the program together, but it is not required. Lay or clergy leaders may attend on their own. If bringing a team, each member of a team is responsible for their own full participation in all the elements of the College.

The price is $850/participant. The actual cost for each participant is $2200 for a single-occupancy room, all meals and snacks, trainers, curriculum, etc. We believe strongly in the ability of these tools to help shape a bright future for our congregations, so the price is heavily subsidized by the diocese. Please also note that partial scholarships are available for participants from congregations with within the Diocese of Ohio who demonstrate significant need.
