On Saturday, November 2 from 9:00 am until noon, St. Barnabas, Bay Village will host Listening to God and the Hurting in our Midst. Consider how you listen to God, and how you listen to those you encounter who are wounded and hurting. Join for a workshop facilitated St. Barnabas member Larry Spielman, who brings decades of study, mistakes, and intimate experience listening to God and the wounded in our midst. Larry works part-time as a Board Certified Oncology Chaplain at Seidman Cancer Center. His diverse experience spans fifty years, including thirty as a parish pastor. He is a healer of the broken and wounded with insight on the intersection of scripture with contemporary suffering, and Christian caregiving. There is no need for a formal registration, but it would be helpful for us if you sign up in advance. Even if you don’t sign up you are welcome to attend and bring a friend. Register here.
