Course: The Role of the Preacher
Course Description: Explore the "P" in PREACH—Pray and Prepare—and reflect on Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch (Acts 8:26-40). Learn how Philip’s Spirit-led readiness, the Eunuch’s curiosity, and their shared engagement with the Word inform our ministry as Lay Preachers.
Join us for prayer, reflection, and practical insights to enrich your preaching!
Registration is $25 and includes coffee, pastries, and lunch. Register by September 6. This event is limited to the first 30 participants.
Check-in is at 8:30 a.m. Scholarships are available should this cost be prohibitive.

Remember, a Lay Preacher proclaims the Word of God in ways that inspire people to follow Christ, deepen their relationship with God, and strengthen the life and mission of the Church—always spreading the message of God’s love and grace. To support this ministry, Lay Preachers are required to participate in annual Continuing Education and maintain up-to-date Safe Church certification.
