October 17 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Back To Events

Join St. Martin’s, Chagrin Falls, on October 17 at 7:00 p.m. for the season-opening concert with award-winning pianist Jiana Peng—an evening that journeys from the intimate poetry of Chopin to the dazzling brilliance of Ravel. Chopin’s luminous Nocturne in D-flat major and kaleidoscopic Preludes reveal his gift for capturing fleeting emotions in miniature, while the Scherzo No. 2 expands into drama of symphonic scale. The program culminates in Ravel’s La Valse—a glittering yet haunting vision of the waltz, where elegance spirals into a whirlwind of sound. Together, these works trace a path from reflection to radiance, from whispered dreams to a dance of overwhelming power. We warmly invite you to share in this musical celebration as we open the season with passion, poetry, and brilliance. General Admission (Pay What You Can).
