Christ Church, Warren will present its annual Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols on December 21 at 6:00 p.m. This beloved tradition weaves together scripture readings, choral music, and congregational carols to celebrate the Christmas season. The Parish Choir of Christ Church will be joined by the Handbell Choir and a professional chamber orchestra, with Richard Konzen at the church’s Casavant pipe organ. This year’s program will feature a selection of cherished carols and seasonal works for chorus and orchestra. Brian Keith Johnson will appear as the featured soloist. The concert will be conducted by James W. Shiell, Director of Music at Christ Church. Following the service, guests are warmly invited to a festive Christmas cookie reception in the Parish Hall.The event is free and open to the public.
