St. Barnabas welcomes Brother Keith Nelson, Superior of the Society of St. John the Evangelist (SSJE), an Episcopal monastery in Massachusetts, for a day of prayer, reflection, and community engagement. The morning session will feature a conversation with Br. Keith about his personal journey of faith, the rich history and contemplative tradition of SSJE, and the monastery’s growing commitment to engaging with parishes and people of faith beyond its walls. Lunch will be served, followed by an optional discussion with Br. Keith on how we, as a family of faith, can grow deeper together through the ongoing Moments… initiative, launched in 2022. Join us for this unique opportunity to experience a taste of monastic life and prepare ourselves to engage a hurting world with Jesus’ message of love and hope.
