St. Michaels in the Hills, Toledo sponsored its second annual free Arts Camp on June 5-9. This camp is an opportunity for ages 5-12 in the community to be exposed to a wide variety of art forms including music, dance, acting, drawing, painting, and environmental science. The campers had the opportunity to learn new skills, express their creativity in a variety of ways, and develop their imagination and problem-solving skills. They also had the opportunity to make new friends. The camp is open to all children, regardless of their religious affiliation, in the Toledo area. This year saw a slight increase in participation with 32 active participants, who left the camp at the end of the week disappointed that it was over so quickly. The camp is made possible through a variety of professionals and volunteers that spend their week working with the children.
