In the fall of 2022, St. Barnabas, Bay Village opened the St. Barnabas Community Cupboard. This ministry offers an anonymous pantry where individuals can stop in and pick up basic needs without any requirement to prove financial need. The mission of the Cupboard is to “provide free, supplemental food for our neighbors in need, honoring their dignity through anonymity and quality choices.” The Community Cupboard is open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. every day and has fresh, dry, and frozen foods available. Donations for the pantry can be dropped off, or purchased off an Amazon wish list and shipped directly to the church. Those interested in learning more or donating can visit www.stbarnabasbv.org/community-cupboard.
