The Diocese of Ohio is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion represented in the United States by The Episcopal Church.
The Episcopal Church of Ohio ministers in our Church and in our communities in many inspiring ways.
For the last decade, St. Luke’s, Cleveland has hosted a weekly clothing ministry, Your Neighbor’s Cloak. Each Wednesday, between 5:00–6:00 p.m., community members are able to come and receive clothes, shoes, and domestic items such as shower curtains, towels, linens, laundry detergent, and pillows. People are able to put in requests for things they need, such as a specific shoe size. After a short time, if physical donation is not received, the ministry will use donated funds to buy the requested item. Other local parishes also seek donations in partnership with Your Neighbor’s Cloak. The program gives out an estimated 100 pieces of clothing per week. If you are interested in volunteering for the clothing ministry or donating to the program, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
