Vibrant congregational life is a natural result of members of all generations intentionally growing together in their relationships with God. This is why the Diocese of Ohio combines support for congregational development and Christian faith formation together in one office.
Vital congregations develop around a core of people who understand themselves to be on journeys with God, and who think of their church as going somewhere. As members become increasingly intentional about their faith, they also become more interested in discovering and sharing God in their lives and neighborhoods.
Christian formation is the lifelong process of growing in relationship with God, self, others and all creation. In this process, we are transformed into the people God wants us to be. We seek to provide safe spaces for children, youth and young adults to explore, play, ask questions, share stories, learn, lead, and grow.

We're reimagining Sunday School.
We believe that Christians of all ages have a role in worship, prayer, and leading the church, and that people of every generation need safe spaces to play and explore their own faith identities.
Diocesan Youth Programming offers an opportunity for young people across the diocese — different regions, parishes, schools, and contexts — to come together for weekend retreats.
Through funding from the United Thank Offering, the Diocese of Ohio has funded 8 parish-level Young Adult outreach projects.
