FREE:

• Episcopal Children's Curriculum (Good options for games, activities, discussions, etc.)
• Lesson Plans that Work (great for non-readers, adult tells the Scripture story, 1-2 simple activity ideas provided.)

FEE:

• Weaving God’s Promises ("Children's chapel" format with activities and games)
• Sparkhouse Spark Activate Faith and Whirl (TONS of resources for activities, games, different age groups, etc.)

BONUS:

• StoryMakers NYC Zine (emphasizes creativity and unstructured imagining- each child gets a "Zine")
• Illustrated Ministry materials (offers various programs, with everything focused on coloring!)

Pop-Up/ No Prep Nativity Pageants

Expecting kids at Christmas but not sure who or how many? Want to do a pageant but don't have capacity to prep (much)? Here are some ideas to get you brainstorming! 

• Ideas and Resources about Pageants from Building Faith
• Instant Christmas Pageant from Deeper Kids Ministry- you need a narrator, a couple basic props, and a hype person/director to get kids engaged. They act out the story by following some obvious stage notes. If your kids are shy or don't have good coaching, this may not be a good one. 
• Interactive Christmas Pageant from UU: This is a funny, kind of silly pageant. You need three significant speakers. The congregation participates as a whole, but it's a lot of words for the narrators. 
• A script from Wendy Claire Barrie adapted from the Message: Simplified, short and clear. Could have multiple readers tell the story, or get congregation members to act out or bring the obvious props in real time. 
• A script from Wendy Claire Barrie adapted from the Common English Bible: Same as above.
