Youth

Diocesan Youth Programming offers an opportunity for young people across the diocese — different regions, parishes, schools, and contexts — to come together for weekend retreats.

Typically, we offer:

  • One weekend in the autumn and one in the spring for 6-12th graders, focusing on community building and seeing God in the world, each other, and ourselves.
  • Youth participation in the Diocesan Convention, typically held in November.
  • Youth participation in the Diocesan Convocation, typically held in February.
  • A spiritual retreat in the winter for high schoolers, led by high schoolers
  • A middle school weekend in the winter focusing on community building and leadership development
  • Annual opportunities to gather with youth from other dioceses in our region.
  • Other opportunities such as the Toledo Youth Gathering, or online Compline services.

We also work with and assist parishes to strengthen their own ministries with youth.
