Dear friends in Christ,
Archbishop Naoum of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem has called for a day of fasting and prayer for peace in the Holy Land this Tuesday, October 17, writing,
“Once again we find ourselves living through hard times in the Land of the Holy One… Nevertheless, from Jerusalem, the City of the Resurrection, I send you all hope for the assurance of a better life: one with a brighter future, more blessed circumstances, and freedom from bloodshed, injustice, and death.”
In support of our siblings in the Middle East, the Bishop’s Staff will offer a brief service at noon on Tuesday. You can find the service here:

Meeting ID: 847 9539 4789
All are welcome to attend this service.
Trusting in the justice, mercy, and peace of God,
