STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — The oldest parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio welcomed a distinguished guest as Bishop Anne Jolly visited St. Paul's Episcopal Church to preside over the Holy Eucharist. Her visit is part of a statewide tour, during which she aims to visit each church every two and a half to three years.
The special service attracted dozens of congregants to the church, which boasts a history spanning over 200 years. Bishop Jolly expressed her enthusiasm about the visit, saying, "It is good to be here. This is one of our more historic churches and faithful congregations, so it's good to be with them and celebrate loving Jesus in this valley."
Following the service, congregants had the opportunity to meet Bishop Jolly while enjoying refreshments.
