Dear friends in Christ,
Every One Beloved is a new way to engage with the anti-racism resources of the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio.
Drawing from our existing curricula, and including foundational material from the Bible, our Baptismal Covenant, and the Becoming Beloved Community model shared by the Episcopal Church, this one-day workshop invites participants to consider deeper connections across the Body of Christ, based in love, dignity, and justice for all people made in the image of and beloved of God.
The inaugural presentation of this workshop will take place at St Paul’s, Maumee, on July 26. Registration is open through July 16. A second presentation of the workshop will follow in Akron in September.
Expect to be engaged in prayer, reflection, conversation, and healing as, connected in Beloved Community, we seek to be faithful, healthy, effective, and sustainable sharers of the transformative love of Jesus.
I, therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace: there is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all. (Ephesians 4:1-6)
