We are St. Christopher by the River, an historic community of worship, set in the Western Reserve style of the village of Gates Mills and situated next to the beautiful Chagrin River.   

The ideal candidate to lead St. Christopher would be a passionate and empathetic spiritual leader who communicates openly and with clarity and possesses sound consensus-building skills. Combined with the self-confidence to work closely with and lead a strong Vestry, this candidate should be ready to guide the church to reach its fullest potential as a community resource and presence. 

The St. Christopher congregation strongly desires a priest who, within the traditional Anglican faith, passionately preaches Biblically based sermons that directly apply the word of God to our lives and mission as a church and as individuals. We expect a spiritual leader who challenges the congregation to examine and strengthen its faith through self-study, fellowship and a strong program of Christian education for both adults and youth.
