Position Title: Organist
Church Name: Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church
Church Address: 583 West Hopocan Avenue – Barberton, Ohio
Contact Name: The Rev. Dr. Michael Petrochuk
Contact Email: fathermichaelpetrochuk@gmail.com
Job Description: St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church (Barberton, OH) is accepting applications for an Organist. This “very part-time” position involves playing on Sunday mornings (one Holy Eucharist service at 9:00 a.m.), along with a few afternoon or evening services throughout the liturgical year. The organist may also avail himself/herself for the occasional special services (i.e., wedding, funeral, etc.) – additional compensation, of course. The organist works closely with the church’s rector – planning the hymns and service music for worship. The church does not currently have a choir, but does have one on Christmas Eve and Easter. Of course, the new organist is welcome to start one! We offer a very competitive compensation along with four (4) weeks of paid vacation per year. This is a joyous congregation that will eagerly welcome its next organist. Please contact the rector or call him (330.801.2001) for more information. We encourage you to apply!
